East Coast Stamping with Mary Louise

 Hey everyone!  Welcome!   For those that know me, know I love a great sketch to challenge my crafting brain.  I had seen this floating around Instagram several days in a row and marvelled at how every demonstrator did something so different while still staying pretty true to the sketch.  I knew I just had to give it a go! I actually crafted this before the end of February 2023 so Sale a Bration was still live.  You could use any current dsp for this same sketch or if you were one of the lucky ones to snag a pack of the Day at the Farm dsp, here is an option. Pear Pizzazz layer was embossed using the Hive 3d embossing folder then it was adhered to the Garden Green cardbase.  Two coordinating pieces of the Day at the Farm dsp were used next with a single strand of Linen Thread tied around and knotted to the side.  Adhere this to the base.  Next, the Vellum layering designs was punched using the essential tag punch which was popped up using dimensionals.  The sentiment, from Heron Habita

 Good day!  We had so much fun creating from today's sketch created by Andrea .  One sketch and two totally different interpretations but great results, just the same.  It is always better to craft with a friend, even if it is via facebook and several provinces difference.  While I did not use circles as my focal point, there are circle-ish shapes in the die cut image.   My card was made with a Very Vanilla cardbase and mat layer.  I ran the layer through the Big Shot using the Seashells Embossing Folder, then through again using the Seaside Seashells Dies-such a great effect.  Then I used Blushing Bride and Crumb Cake inks along with my Blending Brush to add a bit of colour to the die cut piece.  It offered just enough colour once adhered to the cardbase.  I used liquid glue, a sponge and my silicone mat to ensure all pieces were covered.  The sentiment was from the Something Fancy stamp set, stamped using Memento and on a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock.  Adhesive Backed Studs he

 Hello everyone!  I can't wait to show you the card made with today's sketch.  It was created by Andrea and we actually got to create together via facebook live and had so much fun!  One sketch used by two totally different crafters makes for an interesting time. My project was created on a Balmy Blue cardbase, paired with a couple of samples from the Dandy Designs DSP (free with $120 order during sale a bration!).  The Adorable Owl (free with a $60 order during sale a bration) was stamped using Memento onto a piece of Basic White.  Using the Framed Florets Dies, the owl was die cut as well as the outer oval piece in Balmy Blue.  The owl was coloured using Stampin' Up!'s watercolour pencils and adhered to the front layers of the card.  The sentiment is stamped on Basic White using Memento and die cut using the Charming Sentiments bundle and then was popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals.  To finish off this cute project, some Glossy Dots Assortments gems were used.

 Todays bright and cheerful card was so much fun to make and the gals in my card club enjoyed it as much as I did.  We played with my new watercolour pencils and the Adorable Owls stamp set. Granny Apple Green cardbase and sentiment die cut, mixed with fun colours of the Dandy Designs DSP make this card so easy to create.  The owl was stamped onto a piece of Basic White cardstock, fussy cut and then coloured.  Both the Owl and the sentiment die cut piece are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals and placed on top of the Frayed Ribbon.  The sentiment was stamped onto Granny Apple Green using Memento from the Something Fancy stamp set and cut from the Something Fancy dies.  A few Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels topped everything off. Hey everyone!  Welcome to East Coast Stamping with Mary Louise.  Today's weather in Nova Scotia is sunny with flurries!  But you never know, we could have rain by day's end....our weather is so unpredictable. Today's card was made using the Rain or Shine Designer Series Paper showcasing the cute raindrop elements.  But what's better is that I made it while crafting and chatting with friends from away via facebook.  I provided the sketch below, which is actually taken from a project in our January to April 2023 catalogue.   I used Balmy Blue cardstock for my cardbase, The Rain or Shine DSP did most of the work.  The sentiment was stamped in Memento onto Basic White strips and popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals.  A strip of Early Espresson Faux Suede Trim and Glossy Dots Assortment finished off this cute card. Welcome to East Coast Stamping, today's post is from one of my Sketchin Tuesday offerings recently.  One piece of 3 x 3 designer series paper can create so many different layouts, but I especially like this one.  It is simply cut in two diagonally and placed in opposite corners of your cardbase or layer and voila!  After cutting in two, I adhered to my Day at the Farm dsp panel which was then adhered to the Cherry Cobbler cardbase.  Then I stamped my sentiment onto Cherry Cobbler scrap using Versamark, then sprinkled some Black Embossing Powder, tapped off the excess and heat set using my Heat Tool.  I love watching the powder transform and melt to create beautiful images.  This was then fussy cut around, popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals, and added a length of Faux Suede Trim under it before adhering to the card front.  Add a few Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish it off and a simple, yet stunning card awaits you!  Hello my friends and welcome to my blog, East Coast Stamping with Mary Louise.  Take a look around, I have a wide variety of paper projects here and leave a comment with your favs. Todays project was lots of fun as I was creating with my sideline, Andrea and it was a design she created.     The colours used are soft and blend so well together.  Textured Chic DSP has so many pretty designs to choose from, but I could only pick two today.  They are each layered onto Soft Suede cardstock and adhered using Stampin' Seal.  The sentiment from Friends are like Seashells is stamped using Memento onto Soft Suede cardstock and punched out using the Tag Punch.  This is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals with a short length of Gold Simply Elegant Trim.  Add a couple of Petal Pink seashells and you are finished.  Simple but effective card that anyone would enjoy!   Materials and Measurements: Cardbase Soft Suede, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, 2 1/2 x 5, scrap for punch  Petal Pink cardstock scraps  Ba

 Hello and welcome! Today's post is from a recent #sketchintuesday facebook live.  Rich colours, fun paper designs and adorable squishy cat make the perfect recipe for a card that everyone will love.   The Painted Labels dies were used to cut out the fun, swirly circle from Basic Black which I then stamped the sentiment using the Whisper White ink.  The squishy cat in the cupcake liner was stamped on Basic White using Memento and then coloured it.  Pieces from the Dandy Designs DSP were cut and layered onto pieces of Calypso Coral cardstock and then adhered to the Basic Black cardbase.  Elegant Faceted Gems were the final touch for this cute card!
