Stampin' Up! Seaside Seashells Dies Birthday Card
Good day! We had so much fun creating from today's sketch created by Andrea. One sketch and two totally different interpretations but great results, just the same. It is always better to craft with a friend, even if it is via facebook and several provinces difference. While I did not use circles as my focal point, there are circle-ish shapes in the die cut image.
My card was made with a Very Vanilla cardbase and mat layer. I ran the layer through the Big Shot using the Seashells Embossing Folder, then through again using the Seaside Seashells Dies-such a great effect. Then I used Blushing Bride and Crumb Cake inks along with my Blending Brush to add a bit of colour to the die cut piece. It offered just enough colour once adhered to the cardbase. I used liquid glue, a sponge and my silicone mat to ensure all pieces were covered. The sentiment was from the Something Fancy stamp set, stamped using Memento and on a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock. Adhesive Backed Studs help to round out the card.
