Stampin' Up! Rustic Harvest Fall Cards

Image
Hello folks!  Today's post showcases a blast from the past, the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper from 2022-2023 Holiday Mini. I had very little left of a paper share so wanted to use it all up!   I have 6 cards, all very different and unique in their own way.  I will be showcasing them in upcoming blog posts to show you how I created them.  Feel free to use them, even using different colours and designs of paper. I never was one for sending Fall cards, but it seems to be more of a "thing" now.  People are really starting to decorate more, and why not?  Fall colours are so beautiful. Stay tuned for more posts where I will itemize each project. As always, I appreciate you stopping by, Mary Louise https://bit.ly/MaryLouiseSocial

Stampin' Up! Fall Sunflower Card using Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks

Image
Hello everyone, hope you are enjoying your last few days before fall officially sets in.  A lot of folks believe that after labour day and the children return to school, that's the unofficial fall season.  Either way, Fall is by far, my favourite time of year.  The colours are beautiful, the temperatures finally start to cool but are still pleasant, Halloween (my favourite holiday) is just around the corner and everything is PUMPKIN SPICE! lol, I figured that would get your attention.  But really?  I make the best Pumpkin Spice Whoopie Pies! I only really started making and sending fall cards these last couple of years as more and more people are starting to really get involved with fall decorating. So todays project is made using the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks from the Mini Catalogue.  These are so easy to use and the Sunflowers are absolutely gorgeous.   I started with a Pecan Pie card base (have to say, really enjoying the Pecan Pie!), then I added a layer of Stargazing DS

Stampin' Up! Beary Christmas Patchwork Border Christmas Card

I know, it isn't even technically fall yet, but I just had to jump onto the Christmas Card wagon using some of the items from the new Mini Catalogue.  Isn't this dsp pretty?  It's the Beary Christmas dsp and it's all kinds of pretty blues, snow flakes with some great images to fussy cut or there is even a coordinating punch. The layout or sketch for this card is becoming a huge hit right now, the patchwork border sketch.  It's really quite simple actually, four pieces of dsp are cut-two of each size but using two different designs.  Add a piece of light cardstock in the center for the sentiment, layer it all onto another piece and it is so done.  My cardbase is Balmy Blue, my first layer is Night of Navy.  The pieces of dsp are from the Beary Christmas paper pack which are placed around the border of the Night of Navy.  I used a piece of Very Vanilla for the insert, stamped using Balmy Blue ink and the Brightest Glow stamp set.  The cool images are all fussy cut fr
