Christmas in July Stamp a Stack-Very Versailles

 It's hard to think about making Christmas cards right now, the sun is shining and the birds are chirping but here we are.  :) This is the second of my offerings for our Stamp a Stack and I will confess, it is totally CASE'D from Pinterest.  When we were making plans for the event, I started to panic as I didn't have much for Christmas supplies so I knew I would have to be creative.  I like how this one turned out and so did all the participants.  


Supply List:

Cardstock: Basic White 159276-cut at 5 ½”x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”; 4”x5 ¼”

Real Red 102482-cut at 4 ¼” x 5 ½”

Ink: Real Red 147084, Shaded Spruce 147088, Pear Pizzaz 147104

Stamp Sets: Very Versailles 149275; Banner Year 158239; Itty Bitty Christmas (retired)

Embellishments: Bakers Twine Essentials Pack (white) 155475; Wonderful Gems153536

Tear & Tape 154031; Mini Glue Dots 103683

Block E 118484

Step by Step Instructions:

Stamping: Ink block E up with Pear Pizzazz, stamp off once onto scrap paper and then “stamp” the block onto the center of your basic white layer.  Follow with the verse stamp from Very Versailles, using the Pear Pizzazz again, stamp over the block stamping.  Next, take the vine stamp and ink up using Shaded Spruce and stamp image on the left hand side of the verse image. 

Using the berries from the Banner Year stamp set, ink up with Real Red and stamp amongst the vine leaves.  Again, using the Real Red, stamp your sentiment from Itty Bitty Christmas on the lower front of card.

Since I like to finish my insides, I stamped the vine image on the inside along with a few berries.

Let’s put our card together:

Adhere all layers together now and add some red gems.  I cut two lengths of white baker’s twine, each approx. 6” long and tied them together in a bow which I adhered to the card with a glue dot.

Stampin' Up! Splendid Autumn Sympathy Card

Today's card was inspired by a sketch seen on facebook from an American Demonstrator.  I was intrigued by the cool way to use some of our beautiful designer series paper and the best part is, you don't need a huge piece! I am attending a Stampin' Up! event this weekend and we were asked to bring a few projects to share and this is one of my projects. Fall isn't officially here yet, but once school starts up and the leaves start to fall off the trees, it's pretty close.  The Splendid Autumn designer series paper is gorgeous, the beautiful rich colours are simply stunning.   The cardbase and matte layer are Wild Wheat and the cardstock that the dsp is mounted on is Crushed Curry.  Simply cut the pieces and adhere together and then adhere to the card front.  I stamped using Memento onto a strip of Basic White cardstock which was then mounted on to another piece of Crushed Curry.  This was then popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals after the length of 2023...

Stampin' Up! Nests of Winter Christmas Card

Good day folks!  I am here with another card created for my recent Stampin' Up! gathering this past weekend.  We had a day long activity where we focused on building up our Stampin' Up! business, watched several Atlantic Demos create some beautiful projects and then participated in a show box swap.  This was my shoe box swap offering. I have used this fancy fold layout several times and thought it was the perfect opportunity to showcase some of the beautiful Nests of Winter dsp in the latest mini catalogue! My cardbase is Grey Granite which was cut and scored, the die cut square behind the image and the strip to hold the card together are all Gray Granite too.  The dsp is from Nests of Winter and they are adhered to the front and the inside of the cardbase.  There is a small piece of Basic White for the insert and fits beside the piece of dsp.  The strip of Gray Granite,  is scored is secured next.  Starting at the far left edge of the card front,...
