Gather Together Throw Back Thursday
I love being able to dig into retired treasures to create with, I had forgotten just how much I enjoyed this bundle. Not only is it a stamp and die set but the dies also emboss on the leaves. The detail in the embossing makes the leaves pop on your card. I have listed supplies that are both current and retired, feel free to reproduce. If you don't have the exact colours anymore, swap out with what you do have.

Step by Step Instructions:
Stamping:
Stamp the large leaf and Gather Together in Cajun Craze on pieces of Basic
White scraps.
I
also like to finish the inside of my cards so I then stamped the same large
leaf in Daffodil Delight for the inside and added the sentiment in Cajun Craze
on top of the leaf.
Run
the second piece of Basic White through the Birch embossing folder then gently
rub with the blending brush with some tip top taupe ink. Don’t be too heavy with your ink or your
image will be very dark. Then using your
marker, colour in a few marks on the trees to look like birch.
Cut
out the leaves using the dies and the embossing machine. Then, using the Cajun Craze ink and Blending
Brushes, lightly brush on some ink to “colour” the leaf.
Now let’s assemble our
card:
Adhere each of your
leaves to your birch matte in a circular design. Fold your ribbon in half and place over top of
the leaves, leaving just enough showing on either side of the sentiment and
glue in place. Add Dimensionals to your
sentiment and place over top of the ribbon and leaves. Using Stampin Seal, adhere this to the cardbase
and then add insert to inside.
I love to make fall cards as the colours are so rich and beautiful even though it isn't an occasion that I tend to send out cards for. This year, that might change. Hope you enjoyed my Pinterest inspired card as much as I do.
