Penguin Place Case the Catty Card
Not sure how many cards I have already made using the cute Penguin bundle, or even just the matching dsp but when I saw the project on the back of the sale a bration catalogue I knew I had to do it. I love how easy it was to put this card together. It took some time to cut out all the little pieces. We completed it during card club and while the gals might have shown some resistance at first, they went to work and chatted while putting it all in place.
I didn't have the beautiful white felt that the penguin is sitting on but I think it still turned out pretty good.

Step by Step
Instructions
Stamp your balloon and
string in Rich Razzleberry but stamp off twice before to remove some ink. Then
stamp the Happy Birthday using Memento.
Fussy cut these two pieces out.
Stamp penguin using Memento
onto white cardstock scrap and punch out.
Then add Just Jade bow tie and Daffodil Delight nose. Using scraps, stamp toque in Just Jade and
fussy cut out. Next, stamp 2 feet in
Daffodil Delight and use punch to cut out.
Using the long piece of
dsp, flag the bottom using scissors.
Now let’s put the card
together:
Adhere your two pieces
of dsp onto your cardfront using adhesive of your choice. Place feet and hat onto your penguin and then
pop up with dimensionals onto the front of your card. Add dimensionals to the balloon and place
near the top of the dsp. I used tombow
mono on the string, you could also use glue dots-then place under the balloon
and as close to or under the penguins hand.
(guess I should google what a penguin hand is called). I also used the strip of dsp on the Basic
White layer and placed inside. Top it
off with some Matte Black Dots.
Isn’t he
adorable????
