Stampin Up Lovely You Fall Colours

Today's project was one I have been wanting to try for awhile now.  I have had this stamp set for over a year now and have used so many of the sentiments but never have I inked up the various floral images.  I'm glad I waited until now so I could use more fall colours, so happy with the end results.

Supply List:

Cardstock: Just Jade-cut at 5 ½”x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”; scrap for sentiment

Basic White-cut 2@ at 4” x 5 ¼” ; scrap for sentiment

Ink: Just Jade; Pumpkin Pie; Cajun Craze; Daffodil Delight

Stamp Sets: Lovely You

Stitched So Sweetly Dies

Lovely Labels Pick a Punch

Adhesive, mini dimensionals

Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials

Linen Thread

Paper Trimmer

Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine

Step- By- Step Instructions:

Stamping: Using the scrap of basic white, stamp your sentiment in Just Jade. This piece must be 1” wide, at least 3 ½” long.

I started with the Pumpkin Pie ink and the largest flower image, stamping in the “corners” of the space I wanted to cover.  Remember when placing your images, you want to leave space for the sentiment pieces so be sure to stamp accordingly.  Under neath of my die cut is pretty much blank, hope this makes sense.  Now, using the leaf image, I used the Just Jade ink and filled in where needed.  Cajun Craze was used on the thicker leafy image and finally the small flower was used in Daffodil Delight.  I did add a few more of the flowers to fill in where needed.

I also like to finish the inside of my cards so I then stamped each of these images on the inside on the bottom, left hand corner.

Using Just Jade cardstock, cut out the sentiment backing from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

I used the largest of the slots in the Lovely Labels punch to create my label and punched at both ends.

Now let’s assemble our card:

Adhere both of the Basic White pieces to the card, the insert for the inside and the other on the front.  I added dimensionals to the die cut piece of Just Jade, centered amongst your inked images.  I also added dimensionals to the label punched sentiment layer but first I added a length of linen thread, about 3” worth.  I just wound it under the sentiment.  Then I added a few of the clear epoxy embellishments.
