Blackberry Bliss, New Horizons and Pansy Petals

Another #sketchintuesday project using a sketch from my stamping pal Barb!  This one was perfect for me as it allowed me to use more of my dsp including scraps!  I am one of those people who refuses to throw out even the smallest piece of paper just in case I can use it somewhere.  You never know right?

My favourite Stampin Up colour is Blackberry Bliss and I certainly showed it a lot of ❤️ in this card.  Using the Blackberry Bliss cardstock for the cardbase, I added a piece of dsp from the New Horizons paper pack that had mostly Polished Pink on it.  Then I used some scraps from the Pansy Petals dsp pack and then fussy cut a few Pansies for the main focal point.  I rarely use flowers in my projects, so this was a pleasant surprise for a change.  The circle die in the centre is from the Painted Labels die set and it’s cut from, of course, Blackberry Bliss.  The die cut plus the top Pansy are both popped up using dimensionals, otherwise Stampin Seal was used to put this card together.  Special Moments stamp set had the perfect sentiment for this beautiful card and it was stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink (eek!). Yes, there’s more! Three Pearl Basic Jewels are placed in the top, right hand corner plus each of the flowers have been touched with some Wink of Stella.  It’s amazing what a few pieces of paper and pretty ink mixed together can make.  Okay, here it is:

Now I did change the orientation but otherwise followed the sketch.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoyed the card as much as I do.
