Pattern Party meets Hello Ladybug

There seems to be so many storm days, busy days at work leading up to the storms and finally life…I am so far behind with posting my cards and I feel terrible about it.  Last weeks sketch challenge from my fellow demo Barb brought me this adorable card featuring the Hello Ladybug stamp set.  Funny little story, I was so excited to order the stamp, waited the two weeks for the order to arrive and when I opened the box there wasn’t any punch in it (in case you didn’t know, it’s a stamp/punch bundle).  Imagine my disappointment! So I used the stamp without the punch and planned to order it next order.  Yah, I forgot to again.  But I don’t mind fussy cutting at all and that’s whatI did and will continue to do so until I remember to finally order it.

So my sketch allowed me to use some of my favourite items from Stampin Up-dsp! Imagine that?  I chose three designs from the Pattern Party hostess pack from annual catalogue using the black and white patterns.  Those were layered onto a Basic Black cardbase.  My ladybug was stamped using Memento ink and Real Red onto Basic White cardstock and then I fussy cut her out and popped up on dimensionals.  My sentiment is from the Many Messages stamp set and set off with a few embellishments from a retired pack of bling.  Since I like to finish my insides, I placed a piece of basic white stamped with the same ladybug as on the front.  Who said black and white can’t be fun?   Check it out:

Would love to see you create using this sketch.  Thanks for stopping by
