You're a Peach Sketch Challenge

 Hey folks,

Another week and another #sketchintuesday post.  Sadly, I haven't been in my craft room nearly enough lately.  My work and my volunteer activities have been keeping me very busy, which is great but I still need my play time.  My craft room is fairly large and I have it filled...but with a lot of furniture so I have been slowly cleaning stuff out.   It seems the bigger the room, the more stuff gets jammed into it.  Perhaps even a few, ahem, unfinished projects are surfacing as well.  Oh my!

So my sketch this week was fairly easy, but I really wanted to make it eye catching.  Thanks to my stamping pal, Barb, I was able to do that.  I find when I start to gather my supplies for my project, I start with the main focal image and build around it which is usually the dsp or the stamped image.

This project enabled me to utilize some of my pretty patterned dsp....I chose You're A Peach!  Can you believe, it's the first time I have used this pack and I've had it since the catalogue went live.  Shame!  I paired up a couple of pieces of the patterns with Pear Pizzazz and Pale Papaya cardstock.  The Bark 3D Embossing Folder was used for the small piece of Pale Papaya to offer some interest to the front of the card.  Using the sentiment from the Very Versailles stamp set, I stamped in Pear Pizzazz on Basic White and punched that as well as a Pear Pizzazz layer using the Double Oval Punch.  A peach was fussy cut and popped up with Dimensionals and finished off with a white bow using the Bakers Twine Essential Pack.

Take a look, tell me what you think?

Here are the measurements I used:

Cardbase: Pale Papaya-5 1/2x8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4

You're A Peach dsp-3 1/2 x 4 3/4"

Coordinating dsp-1 1/2 x 4 1/2", 1/2 x 4 1/2"

Pale Papaya (embossed)-1 x 4 1/2"

Hope you enjoyed, thanks for stopping by
