Stampin Up Starry Sky Wedding Card
Hello, it's Mary Louise here from East Coast Stamping with Mary Louise. Today's project is a wedding card I made recently for a dear friend of mine. Her wedding colours were Blue and Silver, so pretty. I dipped into some retired products for this card as I had a specific vision in mind. The base is Starry Sky, which is my favourite current In Colour, I love the depth of the colour. This is topped with a layer of Silver foil, long since retired but still in my stash. Next is another layer of Starry Sky that has been embossed using the Filigree Frame embossing folder, yet another oldie but goodie. I heat embossed using Silver embossing powder, the sentiment from the Petite Pairs stamp set. Using a stitched circle die cut of Basic White, I heat embossed the cake using Silver embossing powder and my heat tool. This is popped up in the center of the card using Stmpin Dimensionals covering some Silver Metallic Thread. Some silver and Starry Sky flowers punched using Petite Petals and Itty Bitty Accent punches to add some depth to the white circle die cut using Mini Glue Dots. Some Metallic Pearls completed the card front. The envelope flap was lined with Silver Foil and some flowers were heat embossed in the corners for added detail.
This card was so much fun to create, and I wish the bride and groom everlasting love!
