Sketch Challenge using You're a Peach dsp for #throwbackthursday

Good day!  Don't you agree, that crafting/creating of any kind is better with a friend or friends?  Today's post was made while crafting with my friend and sideline, Andrea who is halfway across the Country.  We have so much fun together, it's hard to say what kind of near fiasco is going to happen while we do create.

This sketch she provided can be interpreted many ways and could be a simple shape challenge or you could switch it up altogether.  It's your decision!  While I kind of followed the shapes, I did do a throwback twist.  Everything I used is already retired or is retiring very soon with the exception of the Basic White cardstock, Memento ink and adhesives.

Just because we showcase new products with our cards and videos, doesn't mean that you can't create using what you have in your stash.

Let's get started!

For this card, I used the Pale Papaya cardstock for the base as well as the front panel which was die cut using the Stitched so Sweetly dies.  Using Memento ink, I stamped the main image and sentiment from the PS You're the Best stamp set.  This was layered onto a panel of You're a Peach DSP using stampin seal.  A few Gilded Gems and a small bow using White Bakers Twine finished off the card.  Super cute and effective, almost followed the sketch and used some of my treasures from the vault.

Measurements and materials used:
Pale Papaya cardbase 4 1/4 x 11; piece for die cut
Basic White 4 x 5 1/4
You're A Peach DSP 4 x 5 1/4
PS You're the Best stamp set
Memento
Stitched so Sweetly Dies
Gilded Gems
Stampin' Seal, Mini Glue Dots
Stampin Trimmer, Stamp'n Emboss Machine

What can you make using this sketch????
Thanks for dropping by,
