Stampin' Up! Fresh as a Daisy DSP Sympathy Card
When I first started trying to decide how I wanted my card to resemble the sketch, I reached for the Fresh as a Daisy dsp. This panel was just the perfect size for a card front but I needed something extra to make the card extra special. I reached for my Cloud Punch and decided to add my own cloud to the scenery. After I punched one using scraps of Basic White, I added a bit of Azure Afternoon using my blending brush. Just enough to lend a bit of colour and not be so stark. Then I heat embossed my sentiment using Black Embossing Powder. The panel of dsp was added to a Wild Wheat cardbase using Stampin' Seal. A small length of Wild Wheat ribbon adhered to the card front, then the punched cloud popped up with dimensionals added the right touch. I followed that with a few Wild Wheat embellishments from the 2023-2025 In Colour Dots. For the insert, I used the negative space from the strip of Basic White that I punched my cloud from, positioned it where I wanted my sentiment and added a bit of Azure Afternoon here too. Once I added enough colour using my blending brush, I also added another partial cloud in the upper, right hand corner. The sentiment was then stamped with Versamark, then Black Embossing Powder and zapped with the Heat tool. I so love the effect, it's amazing how powder melts onto the cardstock and the finished results. A small strip of dsp along the edge finished off the insert and was adhered to the cardbase.
