Stampin' UP! Trucking Along Birthday Card
Hello, todays project is based on a sketch challenge that another Stampin' Up! demonstrator Patti@pspapercrafts had posted on her blog. I did use the same paper that she used but changed up my main focal point.
I must say I am really enjoying this Trucking Along stamp set alot. I was a bit hesitant to purchase it but now that I have used it a few times, yup! I am hooked.
Today's card uses a Bubble Bath cardbase, with a white panel and insert. The banners are cut from Bright & Beautiful designer series paper and backed with more of the Bubble Bath cardstock. They are just adhered together and layered onto the cardbase. I didn't really measure the length of my banners, just cut them long, arranged where I wanted them on the card front and trimmed from the top. If you are wanting to be more precise, then you could measure before you cut your Bubble Bath and DSP pieces. The fun part is next-stamping the truck on a piece of Basic White cardstock.
Materials and Measurements:
Bubble Bath cardstock 5 1/2 x 8 1/2; 1 3/4 x 5 (2); 1 1/2 x 5 (1)
