Stampin' Up! Perennial Lavender Sympathy Card
I've said this a dozen times if I've said it once...it's so much more fun when you craft with a buddy. Today's project was created during a facebook live with my side line Andrea. Even though we are pretty much on opposite coasts of Canada, it doesn't matter. We pick up where we finished in our last week's craft session and have so much fun. We laugh, we fumble, sometimes there's an animal of hers involved but there's always a relaxing atmosphere.
We both took the sketch to heart this week and pretty nearly followed to a T.
My cardbase was Crumb Cake which I added a layer of Perennial Lavender DSP to. Then another layer of each, adhered together and then to the cardfront was next. The sentiment outline was stamped in Crumb Cake onto a piece of Basic White then blended using a Blending Brush. Next, the words were stamped using Highland Heather and then punched out using the Hexagon Punch. Using a small strip of Stampin' Seal on the front, I added a strip of the Gold Faux Leather Trim to the front in a circular formation. The sentiment went over this using Stampin' Dimensionals. Some Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins finished off the front. The insert was a small piece of Basic White with a strip of dsp adhered to it.
Materials and Measurements:
