Stampin' UP! Gold Embossed Zinnia Birthday Card

 Oh if you could only see this card in person!  It is gorgeous and simple to make and I just can't wait to give it away and make more!

This was created by inking my embossing folder with Versamark, embossing a piece of cardstock, then sprinkling some embossing powder on the cardstock and finally applying heat via our heat tool.  Place it onto a cardbase, add a few embellishments and done!

Add your versamark to either side, depending on what you want your end result to be.  I put mine on the right hand side or the indented side.  Then I added my Basic White cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot (yup, it's still going strong!).  Then I quickly added my Gold Embossing Powder to it and heat set it with my heat tool.  

A strip of ribbon was added across the front, just long enough to tuck around the back and secured with stampin Seal!.  Then the entire embossed layer was added to the cardbase.  Another small piece of ribbon was tied to make a small knot off to the side.  My sentiment from Heartfelt Hexagon is stamped on a piece of Basic White and heat embossed using Gold Embossing Powder. It is adhered to a piece of Boho Blue cardstock, both of which were punched using the Double Oval Punch.  A few Stampin' Dimensionals were added to "clear" the height of the ribbon.  A single Brushed Brass Butterfly was added for interest.  

The insert is Basic White cardstock with a sentiment from the same set embossed using Gold Embossing Powder also.  Oh how I love a finished insert.

Stampin' Up! Splendid Autumn Sympathy Card

Today's card was inspired by a sketch seen on facebook from an American Demonstrator.  I was intrigued by the cool way to use some of our beautiful designer series paper and the best part is, you don't need a huge piece! I am attending a Stampin' Up! event this weekend and we were asked to bring a few projects to share and this is one of my projects. Fall isn't officially here yet, but once school starts up and the leaves start to fall off the trees, it's pretty close.  The Splendid Autumn designer series paper is gorgeous, the beautiful rich colours are simply stunning.   The cardbase and matte layer are Wild Wheat and the cardstock that the dsp is mounted on is Crushed Curry.  Simply cut the pieces and adhere together and then adhere to the card front.  I stamped using Memento onto a strip of Basic White cardstock which was then mounted on to another piece of Crushed Curry.  This was then popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals after the length of 2023...

Stampin' Up! Nests of Winter Christmas Card

Good day folks!  I am here with another card created for my recent Stampin' Up! gathering this past weekend.  We had a day long activity where we focused on building up our Stampin' Up! business, watched several Atlantic Demos create some beautiful projects and then participated in a show box swap.  This was my shoe box swap offering. I have used this fancy fold layout several times and thought it was the perfect opportunity to showcase some of the beautiful Nests of Winter dsp in the latest mini catalogue! My cardbase is Grey Granite which was cut and scored, the die cut square behind the image and the strip to hold the card together are all Gray Granite too.  The dsp is from Nests of Winter and they are adhered to the front and the inside of the cardbase.  There is a small piece of Basic White for the insert and fits beside the piece of dsp.  The strip of Gray Granite,  is scored is secured next.  Starting at the far left edge of the card front,...
