Stampin' Up! Nature's Sweetness Thank You Card

Welcome to my blog!  Today's project was created using a sketch from another Stampin' UP! demo that I was partnered with for a working group recently.  When she posted the sketch, I thought this was the perfect way to support her in her business goals.  Plus, it let me have fun with another sketch which is kind of my weakness.
I placed a layer of dsp from the Nature's Sweetness paper pack on to the Pecan Pie cardbase after first wrapping a length of the Faux Leather Trim around and securing with adhesive.  This layer has been popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Next I created three flowers using the Color & Contours Stamp set.  Two were stamped onto Basic White scraps and the third is heat embossed onto a piece of Pecan Pie.
The stamped ones were done with Poppy Parade and Calypso Coral-the stamp is a two step stamp and the I used the same colour for each of the two stamps.  They were die cut but I also did a bit of fussy cutting also.  The one on the Pecan Pie, after blotting my Embossing Buddy over the cardstock, I stamped the flower image using Versamark onto the cardstock.  Then I sprinkled generously the Gold Embossing Powder, tapping off the excess.  Once my Heat Tool warmed up, I directed the warm air towards the image and watched how it transformed from powder to a shiny solid.  It is amazing to watch.  Be sure not to hold the heat in one spot as it will burn your paper.
While I had everything still out, I also stamped the sentiment with Versamark and repeated the process using a strip of Pecan Pie cardstock.  I just trimmed down the strip around the words.
The Pecan Pie flower is adhered using Stampin' Seal while the other two have Stampin Dimensionals.  The sentiment is also popped up.  One butterfly from the Brushed Brass Butterflies was added to a flower and then a few of the Adhesive-Backed speckled dots.
I can never forget the insert:  a couple more stamped flower images placed onto a piece of Basic White which also has a strip of dsp on it completes the inside piece which can then be adhered to the card.
