Stampin' Up! Rock and Roll Birthday Card
Hey everyone! Today's sketch is super cool and I really love the card I made using it. This was so easy to put together since I used three different dsp designs. All I stamped was the sentiments. So if you were looking for a great design to mass produce, this is it!
The first layer of dsp goes directly onto the cardbase, then I cut the second piece of dsp (I cut it on a diagonal, now there's no right or wrong to the size of this piece so do what works for you) and it is adhered to the first. See, simple! The third piece of dsp is adhered to the Basic Black panel with Stampin' Seal, then popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals and placed slightly askew on the cardfront. Almost done! Next I stamped the sentiment from Sweet Songbirds onto a scrap of Basic White using Memento ink. That is then trimmed down to the size I want and popped up with Stampin Dimensionals.
For the inside, I stamped a sentiment and added a few music notes from the same stamp set, added a scrap of dsp to the bottom and adhered all to the cardbase. I didn't want to add too many embellishments and get lost in the black and white colour scheme I had going on so it's just a few of the iridescent rhinestone basic pearls for the win. And bam! All done. I don't think it took 15 minutes once I had the papers cut. For an alternate idea, embossed cardstock could be substituted for the dsp. I can't wait to try this sketch again using alternate designs and colours.
Big thanks to Andrea for the fun sketch idea and the facebook live entertainment.
