Stampin' Up! Unbounded Beauty DSP Birthday Card




Today's card is from a sketch that I found online from an American Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  I often search facebook or instagram for inspiration to get the creative juices flowing.
Stampin' Up! has made card creating so easy by offering so many coordinating products, it takes the guess work out of it and allows us more time to focus on having fun.
The first layer of dsp used is a piece from the 2024-2026 In Color and I used the Summer Splash colour. This is adhered to a Summer Splash cardbase.  There are three more pieces of Summer Splash cardstock topped with either dsp or the top one which has Basic White on it.  They are all adhered using Stampin' Seal and Stampin' Dimensionals along the outer edges.  The Basic White cardstock layer is stamped using Memento and the Country Birdhouse stamp set.  To achieve the happy birthday, I covered one half of the stamp while inking it up, removed the covering (post it note) and then stamped. I also added a fussy cut image to it for interest.  Finished with a white baker's twine bow which is adhered with a mini glue dot and then some of the Rhinestone Basic Jewels.  Of course the inside is a piece of Basic White, with a small strip of coordinating dsp and stamped using Memento and the Country Birdhouse stamp set.

 a. Pattern #1 - 5 ¼” x 4”-2024-2026 In Color DSP

 b. Pattern #2 - 2 ½” x 2 ½” Best if you use non-directional DSP- 2024-2026 In Color DSP, strip for insert

 c. Pattern #3 - 4 ¼” x 2 ¼”-Unbounded Beauty DSP

 Good Day Everyone!  I thought this card layout was very interesting.  While it does seem to be a fairly simple card to create, if you try to mass produce or swap out dsp, you can get a bit lost in the cuts.  Please don't shy away from this though, it really is a creative way to mix and match your dsp.  If you don't have dsp, you could easily make your own and then cut.  I watched a video on you tube from another demonstrator to make sure I did the cuts correctly.  In the end, it isn't about measuring at all, but making sure the stack you use are always lined up. Using three different pieces of dsp that measure 4 x 5 1/4, stack them all on top of each other.  Remember, however you have them stacked will be the layout when you swap them out.  Now you can create three different cards all from these pieces and simply shuffling them between the three card bases. Colouring Beautifully Penned DSP

  Today, I felt like colouring so I found some dsp to colour along with my Stampin Blends and here it is.  The Beautifully Penned dsp was the perfect choice to satisfy my colouring urge.  Do you find colouring is a stress reliever?  Here are the measurements and step by step instructions.  I created this live on facebook today, take a peek over on my page. Stampin' Up! Color & Contour Sympathy Card

 Hello folks!  It's me, Mary Louise from East Coast Stamping with Mary Louise bringing you another project from my #sketchingtuesday's live recently.  Even though these colours are a bit bright, I think they are still appropriate for a sympathy card.  They blend well together and offer some light during an otherwise sad time.  It seems as soon as I make a few of these cards for my stash, there are being pulled, signed and mailed lately.   A piece of Basic White cardstock was cut using the Color & Contour dies as the first layer onto the cardbase.  Next was a layer of the Stargazing DSP which was adhered also using Stampin' Seal with a final layer of Basic White which I stamped images and a sentiment onto.  The beautiful flowers were stamped onto scrap Basic White, fussy cut and then popped up using dimensionals being sure to line up with the stamped leaves.  This stamp set is a two step-so I started with the outline and used Berry Burst, then I used the full flower stam
