Stampin Blends on Vellum
What a glorious weekend! It was rainy and cool following a terribly hot week and I loved it all. Even though I had to work all weekend, I was able to enjoy special visits and hugs from my family. Our grandson came for a sleepover on Saturday night with us, he still asks for nanny snuggles when I put him to bed. We also had supper guests Saturday night, double special. Our oldest daughter, Emma and her significant other, Cody, joined us from New Brunswick. The borders opened Wednesday and they came home for a visit to see family and friends. We haven't seen each other in person since September so it was long overdue. Needless to say, I didn't get into my craft room much.
Today's card was made by my good friend and fellow team member, Andrea. She loves to experiment and get her hands messy. I love her technique used here for this card. Once we can get back to in person classes, I plan to do this with my club girls. I hope you try this out.

long edge with the Stampin’ Blends in a circular pattern, covering about 1/3 of
the vellum in each colour.
Spritz with rubbing
alcohol, tilting the vellum to let the colour run down the edge.
Gently dry with the heat
tool so the ink is no longer tacky.
Stamp the sentiment in
Versamark, apply silver embossing powder, and heat to melt.
Punch the corner of the
vellum as desired, and adhere to the cardstock using adhesive of your choice
(Stampin’ Seal used here).
Add the basic
rhinestones as desired, and adhere the card front to a base, using Stampin’
Seal.
