Book Binding Technique with Pansy Petal DSP
Made this card recently with my club girls and they absolutely loved it. It is so simple and can't wait to reproduce in Christmas prints to add to my Christmas giving. We fussy cut the leaves from the dsp which some groaned about and then there's the tying of the bow. Otherwise, it was simple layering and a couple of sentiments stamped onto cardstock.

Instructions
Punch the large piece of
Soft Succulent using the Tailored Tag Punch by sliding the cardstock all the
way into the punch. It should punch
close to the center and will be covered up by the DSP layer.
Now stamp your sentiment
on the punched piece using Memento ink.
Since I like to finish the inside of my cards, I then stamped another
sentiment using the same ink.
Fussy cut your leaves.
Now let’s put the card
together:
Put together your layers
using adhesive of your choice including the last piece of dsp for the
insert.
Place small dsp/cardstock
pair on the front in the small space between the two score lines, then add the larger
pair to the larger space on the card front and lastly, place insert on the
inside of the card to the far right.
Next, we will work on the small area between the two scorelines-run a strip of adhesive on the inside and centering your ribbon, press it into the glue. Now add a couple of more strips of adhesive in that same spot and press together firmly. This completes the book binding aspect of the card. Finish your bow.
Glue the leaves to the punched piece and then pop it up on dimensionals, placing in the center of your card. Add a few embellishments and you are finished.
Super simple, right? Once you tie your bow and fussy cut, the hard things are done. Hope you like this card as much as I did. I can't take credit for the creation of the fold.
